Woman receiving IPL skin rejuvenation with advanced med spa laser treatment in Palm Coast, FL

Intense Pulse Light (IPL)

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments, also known as photofacials or photorejuvenation, offer a range of benefits for improving the appearance of the skin. This non-invasive cosmetic procedure uses a broad spectrum of light to target various skin concerns such as sun damage, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, redness, fine lines (crepey skin), rosacea, acne, as well as hair reduction/removal. By delivering controlled pulses of light energy to the skin’s surface, IPL stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, promoting skin rejuvenation and a more youthful complexion. IPL treatments can effectively reduce the appearance of age spots, freckles, and broken blood vessels while improving skin texture and tone. They are versatile and can be performed on the face, neck, chest, and hands. One of the advantages of IPL is its relatively minimal downtime, with many individuals returning to regular activities shortly after treatment.

DermaFuse®

Dermafuse offers minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency treatments suitable for all skin types, at any time of the year. Life-changing Skin Rejuvenation!

DermaFuse® Electro-mesotherapy is an alternative to traditional needle mesotherapy that maximizes skin permeability by utilizing the IonFuse™ Technology to induce the rearrangement of the lipid bilayer. The application assists with improving the overall appearance and quality of the skin both for the face and body as well as addressing specific skin symptoms.

External factors such as a poor diet, smoking, dehydration, sun damage, and more can influence the color, shape, and vitality of our lips and skin due to the loss of connective tissue (collagen and elastin), moisture, and reduced blood microcirculation which can lead to dual color and a thin dermal layer.

Nd:YAG Laser

Nd:YAG laser treatments for the face are advanced cosmetic procedures that utilize a specific type of laser technology called Neodymium-doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Nd:YAG). This laser emits a controlled beam of light energy that penetrates the skin to target various cosmetic concerns. Nd:YAG lasers are particularly effective for addressing issues such as pigmentation irregularities, vascular lesions, hair removal, and overall skin rejuvenation. They work by targeting melanin (responsible for pigmentation) or hemoglobin (found in blood vessels), breaking down these structures while minimizing damage to surrounding skin. Nd:YAG lasers can help fade sunspots, age spots, and birthmarks, as well as reduce the appearance of facial veins, spider veins, and other vascular lesions. Additionally, the controlled heat from the laser can stimulate collagen production, leading to improved skin texture and reduced wrinkles. The procedure is typically non-invasive and may cause some temporary redness or swelling, with minimal downtime.

FAQs

Your results and how long they last will depend on a number of factors, including the specific aesthetic service provided, the condition of your skin before treatment, your lifestyle habits and diet, how well you protect your skin post-treatment, and your age. In general, results may last anywhere between six months to five years or longer. Wearing sunscreen, staying out of direct sun, following a personalized skincare regimen, and committing to ongoing maintenance can help your results last longer.

During your initial consultation, we will assess your skin type and condition and discuss complementary treatments. Many skin rejuvenation treatments are safe for all skin types; however, some laser treatments may not be as effective on certain skin tones. We can help you make an informed decision about what treatments are right for you. PDO thread lifts are safe for oily, dry, and combination skin and all skin pigmentations, but may not be right for people with fragile, thin, or very sun-damaged skin. IPL works best on fair-to-medium skin, and people with darker skin tones may experience post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation. DermaFuse and the Nd:YAG laser are both safe for all skin types and tones, including acne-prone, sensitive, and compromised skin.

PDO thread lifts can tighten and rejuvenate sagging skin on your face, neck, and body. The treatment stimulates collagen production and lifts skin, and is most effective on the cheeks, jowls, jawline, brows, and neck.

The number of threads used will depend on the size of the area being treated and the results you want to achieve. A typical lift may use between four and 12 threads for light lifting and tightening. For more expansive skin tightening and smoothing, we may use up to 100 threads. On average, most people need between four and 20 sagging skin treatments with PDO threads.

We recommend PDO threads, IPL, and Nd:YAG laser treatments to address fine lines and wrinkles. We can help you decide which is right for you, or create a comprehensive treatment plan that combines more than one treatment, as well as home skin care and maintenance. Both IPL and Nd:YAG laser treatments stimulate the production of collagen necessary to restore skin firmness and tightness, which can smooth fine lines. PDO threads also stimulate collagen production as well as provide immediate structural support below the skin. This offers a non-surgical, mechanical lift that reduces skin tension, making fine lines and wrinkles disappear.

There is no permanent cure for rosacea, but we do offer rosacea treatments that can provide long-term relief from redness and prevent flare-ups. We recommend Nd:YAG laser treatments, IPL, and lifestyle and skincare management changes. IPL targets the hemoglobin in visible blood vessels to reduce flushing, redness, and vascular lesions associated with rosacea. Treatment also stimulates collagen production, which improves skin texture and tone. The Nd:YAG laser can collapse dilated and overactive blood vessels to reduce persistent facial redness, flushing, and visible capillaries and improve skin tone and texture. Home care includes using gentle, fragrance-free, and non-comedogenic skincare products, committing to daily sun protection, and avoiding triggers.
